OUR PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY

Our goal at Bend Animal Hospital is not to be the biggest; just the best at what we do. We want to serve those people for whom a pet is an important part of their lives. We want to help to maximize the joy you get from sharing your life with your pet by promoting the best health and longest life possible consistent with a superior quality of life.

We view our span of services as including everything from the choice of pet, whether large or small, that will be healthy and best suited for you. Through the prevention of disease, to the final end of the journey where we can serve as both grief counselor and friend. During that journey we feel it most important that we provide not only the most advanced technologies available in veterinary medicine, but that we do so in a manner that is compassionate, both to you and to your pet.


SERVICES OFFERED

At Bend Animal Hospital some services that we offer to you and your pet consist of routine veterinary care, routine surgery, orthopedic surgery, ultrasound, radiology, small and large animal dental care, an in-house laboratory, full service pharmacy, preventative health care programs, diagnostics, and consultations. 

An indoor chute is available for bovine surgical and obstetric procedures. Stocks, including one indoor available to examine and treat horses, a padded and heated large animal surgery suite is available for some procedures. The clinic also supplies a fully stocked ambulatory vehicle allowing our doctors to perform most procedures in the field.




  





EMERGENCY SERVICE

A veterinarian is available 24 hours a day for established clients. When you call after hours you will reach our answering service who will immediately page the doctor on call. For a faster response time, please stay near and off the phone until the veterinarian returns your call. Emergencies are served on a first call basis. There is a fee for emergency service or consultations.
